I found not too many people understand the importance of psychological boundaries.
Especially for those who were abused for a long time, they lost the identity and fear of missing out or abandonment. This make them very valuable, either let others step over their boundaries and being controlled by others’ desire and need.
Or they become very controlling and want to step in other business. Always want to check and spy on their love ones, sadly, this unhealthy clinging scare people away.
How about you? Do you protect your psychological boundaries? Or let others violate according to their needs?
You’ll not be the same after the storms of life. You’ll be stronger, wiser and more alive than ever before.
Remind yourself you’re not to blame for what a predator did to you.
Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of your life, tip toe if you must but take the step.
Take small step every day, as long as you are moving forward, you will reach destination eventually. Bless you for your healing!

Leave & thanks for all difficult people in your life, they show you exactly who you do not want to be.
This is exactly how I feel from time to time, their disgusting attitudes remind me strongly that I will never become this type of person.

You have the power! Don’t you realize it? You owe yourself to achieve what you dream of.

Don’t let the past ruin your current and future life. Stay focus and move on.
Similar to many survivors, we felt sorry occasionally for the time we have lost / stolen by abusers, sometimes sad memories bombarded me and it took me hours / days to reclaim my peace at mind.
I knew I can’t get the time back I lost, thus at the same time I reminded myself I only have one life to live so I better make the most of it, now it’s my turn to live it according to my own wish.
How do you make the most of your life? Are you conscious about how short of life is?

Feed your Mind # 2
Chris Guillebeau is one of the “celebrity” blogger I’ve been followed for years.
His ways of thinking and approach of life is very unique and unconventional, which makes him stand out from crowd easily, his perspectives do open my minds a lot and add wisdom to my mental library.
Reason why I resonate with him : not only because I love travel so enjoy very much about his travel stories, but also his value. In addition, show me an “introvert” can also live their dream life according to our wish.
Society tend to praise extrovert more and assume that successful / happy person must be extrovert / outgoing.
His book “$100 start up” and new one “Born for this – how to find the work you meant to do” do inspire people how to live a fulfilling life, no matter our age, race, limitation or obstacles etc.
We all have our dreams but there always an “excuse” to hold us back, e.g. don’t have enough money to start our business, Chris put successful stories he interviewed in the book “$100 start up”, then many of us hate our jobs and drag ourselves to workplace everyday, Chris wrote another book we have the choice to do what we love / what we meant to be.
The only limitation is “ourselves”.
I love and enjoy seeing people who make an impact while stay humble, generous to others.
I have difficulties to find mentor in real life, guess it’s because my “introvert” attribution and anxiety / shy that stem from abusive history.
Feel insecure if people get too close to me, but I am always hungry for knowledge and wisdom so found many people I admire to follow from the net.
